Santa Maria di Castellabate, set of Welcome to the South

Remake of the brilliant French comedy “Bienvenue chez le Ch’tis”, which has grossed over 3 million euros.
Alberto (Claudio Bisio), head of the post office of a small town in Brianza, under pressure from his wife Silvia (Angela Finocchiaro), is willing to do anything to get the transfer to Milan.
Also pretend to be invalid to get on the list.
But the trick does not work and as a punishment is transferred to a village in Campania, which for a resident of the north is tantamount to a nightmare.
Covered with prejudices, Alberto left alone for what he considers the land of the Camorra, waste in the streets and “sluggish” landers.
With his immense surprise, instead, he will discover a fascinating place, affectionate colleagues, a hospitable population and a new and great friend, the postman Mattia (Alessandro Siani), to whom he will lend a hand to reconquer the heart of the beautiful Maria (Valentina Lodovini).
But the problem is now another: how to tell Silvia and old friends from the north?
